A most important elements in the ILM Solutions portfolio are the PBS Archive add ons. PBS Archive add ons is a standard software solution, developed with SAP technology, and the modules correspond to those in SAP. SAP transactions and reports are enhanced with the functionality to display and analyze archived data and are completely implemented using exclusively standard SAP development tools.
PBS Archive add ons assure users that they can retain transparent access from SAP to their information even when it’s archived. It allows them to view and access archived information together with online information – users see the archived data in the same way, and with the same screen layout, as they did when it was still in the database.
PBS Archive add ons are add-on solutions for SAP Data Archiving that can be used immediately. The PBS Archive add on CBW extends the SAP Business Information Warehouse. With the PBS archive add on CBW you have the possibility to access your archived InfoCubes and DataStore objects in SAP BW using standard BW queries. Furthermore, you can archive PSA tables that you can reload again if required or update directly via VirtualProviders.
The extraction of tax-relevant data from InfoCubes, DataStore objects, master data, texts or any transparent tables with the PBS archive add on CBW supports you when fulfilling legal regulations. The data extracts are saved in ASCII format as sequential files and can be evaluated with various audit tools.
To support end user navigation, PBS provides a menu containing all supported transactions.
